The CHCNAV Apache 3 is a compact, high-performance USV (Unmanned Surface Vehicle) designed for precise bathymetric surveys in lakes, rivers, and coastal areas. Its lightweight, shallow-draft design and portability make it particularly well-suited for operations in hard-to-reach or remote locations where conventional survey boats reach their limits.
The system features an integrated single-beam echo sounder alongside high-precision GNSS and IMU technology, enabling the collection of reliable depth and positioning data. Intelligent sensor fusion ensures stable, accurate measurement results even under challenging conditions, such as strong currents or choppy water.
Its robust, one-piece carbon fiber hull offers high durability while minimizing weight. Combined with its compact form factor, this allows for easy one-person operation and rapid on-site deployment—ideal for flexible surveying tasks and efficient workflows.
Powered by a high-performance propulsion system, the Apache 3 reaches speeds of up to 4.5 m/s and offers an operating time of up to 4 hours. Hot-swappable batteries ensure uninterrupted operation, even during extended missions.
Autonomous route guidance enables precise navigation along pre-defined survey lines, while seamless 4G communication maintains a stable connection. Users access features such as live data display, video streaming, route planning, and data acquisition and processing via the Android-based EasySail software—all directly through the remote controller, without the need for additional external devices.
